Job Details Construction Helper

Fuscao Construction Ltd has 3 available full time permanent positions of "Construction Helper" in Edmonton, Alberta. Wages will begin at $27.00 per hour and $40.50 per hour for overtime. The location of work varies within Edmonton upon various contracts. Some on the job training will be provided. Construction experience would be an asset. CSTS Construction Safety Certificate is required.
Employment consists of but are not limited to:
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other
materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction activities
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
