Hours of work: 40 hours/week
10 working days of paid vacation, WCB
Education:
• Completion of secondary school is mandatory
• Post-secondary education language or business studies
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an administrative or business assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in Canadian construction or renovation industry
• Must have excellent written and oral English skills, as proven by a recognized Canadian language proficiency certification
• MS Windows, MS Suite, Google Docs, Google Drive, Electronic Mail
• Knowledge of Slavic language/s is an asset

Job Description
General job duties:
• Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer and partners
• Record and prepare minutes of meetings
• Answer telephone and electronic enquiries, telephone calls and messages
• Determine and establish office procedures
• May order office supplies and maintain inventory
Specific job duties:
• Assist project managers and site supervisors with administrative tasks related to construction and renovation projects
• Maintain project-specific files and documentation (e.g., contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documents)
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of project-related documents, such as bid packages, tender documents, and contract agreements
• Assist with the preparation and submission of permit applications and follow up on their status
