Job Details China Liang Buffet is looking for an experienced cook specialized in preparing and cooking Chinese cuisine including dim sum. This is a permanent full-time position and the successful candidate will work 40 hours per week at our restaurant. Overtime is paid at 1.5 time of the regular hourly pay. Your are entitled to a three-week vacation with pay per year and will be provided the option to sign up group insurance and other benefits required by the Province of Saskatchewan. Job Description The Cook will perform the following duties:
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare and cook dishes for buffet station
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations

Job Requirements:
Language: English
Education: Completion of secondary school, or trade or diploma, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3-5 years or more of commercial cooking experience in Chinese cuisine is preferred.
