Job Tittle – Reefer Technician/ Transport Refrigeration Mechanic

Job Duties:
• Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies
• Install refrigeration systems
• Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems
• Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
• Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
• Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
• Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
• Handle, recover and store refrigerants
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
• May repair and maintenance of container facilities, inspecting machinery and equipment as well as detect and investigate if there are irregularities and/or malfunctions.
• There are possibilities that you will work on different sites, for example on static train or boat to analyze the equipment (during work hours only).

Who You Are
• Professional Diploma (DEP) or a journeyman refrigeration specialist certificate is Preferred.
• You have 3-5 Years’ experience on working on Transportation reefer refrigeration systems.
• You are passionate about the field of refrigeration; you are a persevering worker who seeks to solve problems
• You are punctual and like to work in collaboration with your colleagues.
• You have the skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
• you are disciplined and you like a job well done.

Education and Experience
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities
- 3-5 Years’ experience on working on Transportation reefer refrigeration systems
