Job Description Position: Restaurant Manager

Key duties and responsibilities

• Oversee and control restaurant budgeting to maximize profitability
• Prepare financial forecasts for food, beverages, and operational supplies
• Review and optimize the restaurant’s daily workflows
• Adjust menu pricing and cooking procedures in line with financial targets
• Track employee performance to ensure service standards
• Coordinate and streamline day-to-day business functions
• Lead the hiring process for new team members
• Develop and assign employee shift schedules
• Manage and guide team members on operational tasks
• Facilitate onboarding and continuous training of staff
• Handle daily cash reconciliation and maintain financial documentation
• Determine pricing strategies for goods and services offered
• Maintain stock levels and manage supply inventory
• Enforce compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
• Establish supplier contracts and manage procurement logistics
• Contribute to promotional campaigns and marketing execution
• Resolve guest issues and deliver high-quality customer service
Job requirements:
• Several years of experience in the food industry are required.
• Exceptional organization, time management, prioritization, and self-starter skills.
• Passion for food, beverages and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of Food and beverages Safe requirements.
• Ability to be constantly standing and walking throughout shift, and to do occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
• Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Point of sale system
