Currently, we are looking for a Cabinetmaker to join our group. This position will be full-time and permanent, and the work location will be 4930 74 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta T2C 3C9.

The wage will be $23.00 per hour with 30-40 hours per week. The overtime pay will be 1.5x the regular rate, beginning after 44 hours of work per week and/or 8 hours per day.

Job Description:
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or project specifications to determine product requirements and production processes.
• Measure, mark, and layout dimensions on wood, laminate, or other materials according to design specifications.
• Operate woodworking machinery, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
• Assemble and join components using glue, clamps, nails, screws, and other fastening techniques to ensure structural integrity and precision.
• Trim joints, fit parts, and ensure seamless alignment of subassemblies to produce high-quality finished units.
• Sand, smooth, and finish wooden surfaces by applying veneer, stain, or polish to meet client specifications and project requirements.
• Repair, refinish, or modify wooden furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures to restore functionality and aesthetic appeal.
