Right Touch Construction Ltd. DBA Crown Finishing Carpentry located at 3315 Chehalis Drive, Abbotsford BC V2T4Y7 has an opening for two ‘Finishing Carpenter’ positions (NOC: 7271).

Job Location: Multiple locations (Abbotsford, B. C., and Lower Mainland.)

Positions available: 2

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wages: $27.50 per hour

Job Duties:

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches.

• Determine the purchase of woods and other materials.

• Measure, Cut and shape wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

• Construct, fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, and hardware.

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

• Be able to understand building materials, building codes and how they are put together.

• Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school is required.

• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the related field or completion of 2-3 year apprenticeship program is required.

• Able to work long hours, weekend and outdoor in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of English required.

Retention Benefit: Retention bonus of $1000. 00 will be paid upon successfully completing six months of employment with Right Touch Construction Ltd.
