Description : Vancouver-based family is presently seeking an experienced child caregiver.
ASAP. Childcare will take place in the employer's home.
Personal Skills: Reliability; Effective interpersonal skills; Team player; Excellent oral communication; Judgement and intuitiveness; and Flexibility.
Specific Skills: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare children for rest periods, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children.
Additional Skills: Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; as needed, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; and shop for food and household supplies.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
Other Requirements: Criminal record check required.
