GNK Holdings Inc. is a parent corporation that holds
Galleria Supermarket and Korea Food Trading, and we proudly provide business
planning and management to these companies in Toronto, Ontario. We are currently looking for a diligent and
experienced Accounting Technician
(NOC 1311) on a permanent, full-time basis.
Position Descriptions
(Main Duties)
·
Perform
bookkeeping of debits and credits, record keeping and balancing financial
records with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process timely and
accurately
·
Post
journal entries to prepare and file for HST/GST returns of businesses into the
accounting system
·
Verify
and maintain records of general ledgers, financial forms and documents
·
Process
accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
·
Perform
clerical and other related financial and accounting duties as assigned
·
Prepare
VAT (Value added Tax) report and Tax filing for Korean entity.
Requirements
·
Minimum
1 year of relevant general accounting experience
·
Minimum
secondary school diploma
·
Post-secondary
diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field considered as an asset
·
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Quick Books, and
willingness to upgrade computer skills
·
Ability to work in an extremely busy and fast paced
environment under pressure and ability to handle multiple tasks with attention
to detail
·
Strong team player with ability to
interact with all levels of staff in the organization
·
Strong
analytical and mathematical skills
Compensations and Others
·
$25.00
per hour with 30 hours working per week
·
10
days of paid vacation (annual) after one year of employment
·
