Job Details Chinese Cultural Centre Cuisine is a unique seafood restaurant specializing in Hong Kong-style dim sum, exquisite small dishes, seafood set meals, roasted meats from a traditional oven, buffet dishes, and fine vegetarian cuisine. With superb culinary skills and continuous innovation, we offer excellent value for money and attentive service. We can accommodate up to 70 tables and welcome community banquets, birthday parties, and wedding celebrations.

Currently, we are looking for 2 Kitchen Helpers to join our team. This position will be Full-Time and Permanent, and the work location will be 2825 32 Ave NE Calgary Alberta T1Y 6J1.

The wage will be $15.50 per hour with 30-40 hours per week. The overtime pay will be 1.5x the regular rate, beginning after 44 hours of work per week and / or 8 hours per day.

Job Description:
• Assist chefs in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables and fruits.
• Help in the preparation of dim sum, seafood dishes, roasted meats, and other menu items as directed by the chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist in the proper storage and rotation of ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
• Help with plating and garnishing dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensure that waste containers are emptied and cleaned regularly.
