We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic. We are looking for a team member who is personable, empathetic, and able to multitask and would be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare patients for dental examination and assist the dentist during examinations and dental treatments
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Prepare dental instruments, fillings, compounds and various dental materials
- Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
- Perform clerical duties such as preparing invoices, processing payments, scheduling patient appointments
- Record dental procedures performed and order dental and office supplies

Job Description Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A college degree in dental assisting or completion of secondary school with on-the-job training in dental programs or related fields
- 1 years to less than 2 years
- Have excellent communication skills
- Good English language skills are needed
Terms and Conditions:
- Permanent, full-time employment - 35 hours per week
- Compensation: $25.50 per hour. An overtime rate of 1 ½ of base pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
- Location of work: 83 Centre Street, Espanola, Ontario, P5E 1S4
