About the Position
We are currently looking for an experienced Administrative and Strategic Officer to join our team. As Administrative and Strategic Officer, you would be expected to oversee and implement internal administrative procedures to further improve how we conduct business. We would be relying on your expertise to ensure organizational efficiency and coordination.
On a regular basis, you would be performing the following duties:
• Oversee and coordinate overall administrative functions such as filing, data entry, packing of tax returns , tax slips, and other client documents, and ensure efficiency at all times
• Establish and administer inflow/outflow of files, especially tax files to ensure deadlines are met by office support staff
• Implement and supervise procedures for new client file setup, and updating client information where required
• Oversee document preparation using a variety of software (letters, memos, etc.)
• May assist CPAs with CRA related duties and communications
• Advise on modifying existing procedures aimed at further improving service delivery
• Prepare reports for management’s review and assist in operational budgeting and inventory control
Qualifications
• Highschool Diploma – College Diploma in Business Administration or Administration would be a great asset
• 1-2 years of experience in effective administrative and strategic position
• Good working knowledge of Canadian and US tax compliance procedures
• Good English language skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments at a time
Compensation

• Competitive salary and benefits package starting at $50,000.00
• Full-time, permanent position - At least 35 hours per week – hybrid work arrangement available
