Recline Ridge Vineyards and Winery is family-owned and operated and nestled in the heart of the Shuswap Lake area of British Columbia. It was established in 1998 and the original vines were planted in 1994. Although north of the 50th parallel, the vineyards enjoy sun-drenched days and cool evenings. The climate maximizes varietal character and sets the stage for the production of award-winning wines noted for their clean sound structure, intense flavours, and perfect balance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plant, cultivate, tend, pick and collect grapes and vegetables
• Prune, tie, pick, weed, thin, de-leaf plant, sucker, graft, or repair trellis, as needed to maintain or improve the condition of the vines.
• Follow safety protocols while working in the vineyard and greenhouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with soil preparation, install trellis, irrigation, and drainage system in the new vineyards and greenhouse.
• Operate farm equipment such as pruning shears, clippers, and bins.
• Monitor plants’ health, identifying any signs of disease, pests, or stress.
• Monitor and control weeds
• Sort, weigh and pack fruits and vegetables
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport
• Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
• Perform other tasks including plant bulbs and seeds,
Job Requirements:
? Physically fit and able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
? Attention to detail and ability to handle delicate fruit and vegetable
? Basic knowledge of farming is preferred.
? Ability to lift or move 50 or more pounds
? Ability to bend, walk, lift and crouch
? See with close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
? Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
