Job Description Duties will include:
• Draft correspondence and prepare all the legal documents for real estate commercial transactions (Sales, Mortgages, Purchases)
• Draft correspondence and prepare all the legal documents for residential real estate transactions (able to handle files from beginning to end)
• Able to manage Builder Sales files from beginning to end. This includes preparing Builder Documents, Invoicing and Reporting in Lawyer Done Deal and Unity
• Conduct sub-searches and full searches of title. This includes Land title searches in Teraview, Taxes, TSSA, ESA, Unregistered Easements, Zoning and Compliance Searches, Fire Departments Searches
• Invoice lawyers time and disbursements in Soluno
• Prepare and draft Applications for Absolute Title (Title Upgrades ). This includes preparing Notice of Application and Pre-approval packages for the Land Registry Office’s Review
• Administrative duties such as filing, manage calendar (book meetings over Teams), invoicing, opening files etc

Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience as a real estate law clerk
• Strong understanding of real estate law and ability to handle a file from start to finish
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles, and terminology
• Experience working with Teraview, FCT Portal, and Unity
• Experience working with Lawyer Done Deal (LDD)
• Experience working with Soluno and NetDocs
• Experience working with DocuSign
• Superior interpersonal skills to interact with lawyers, clients, and colleagues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
