MK Construction Ltd. is a Fort McMurray-based construction and landscaping company. We work on both renovation and new construction for residential and commercial clients. Since 2007 the organization has seen steady growth and continues to expand its markets locally.
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team for a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
• Overseeing inventory levels for construction materials, ensuring that the right quantities are available at the right times to support project needs while minimizing excess inventory.
• Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to source materials, negotiate pricing, and establish favourable terms and conditions for procurement contracts.
• Coordinating the transportation and delivery of materials to construction sites, optimizing logistics processes to minimize delays and costs.
• Analyzing project requirements and forecasts to anticipate future material needs, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to support project timelines.
• Monitoring and controlling costs associated with procurement, transportation, and inventory management, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and inventory levels, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Description
Position Requirements:
• Completion of a Secondary School
• At least 1 year of experience in the Supply Chain Field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization
• Good English language skills
Terms & Conditions:
• Permanent, full-time employment – 30 - 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $28.90 per hour. An overtime rate of $43.35 per hour will apply after 44 hours of work per week.
