Job Details SLEDM Inc. is looking for full time Electrical discharge machine (EDM) operator for 101 Citation Dr., Unit 1,2, Concord ON L4K 2S4 Canada. There is 1position available.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $25/hour.Successful candidate must speak English. No education or experience is required; on the job training will be provided.

Job Description Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Study job orders and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations to be performed.
• Set up and operate machines with metal parts to perform repetitive machining operations, such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, planning, honing, broaching, grinding or other machining operations
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, callipers and other precision measuring instruments and ensure the parts are properly aligned and orientated correctly on the machine table
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Run a CAM software program to produce a CNC code to be executed at the machine.
• May enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools.
• Successful candidate is to have a high attention to details due to the nature of the job demanding very high precision and concentration for the high tolerances’ requirements.
• Successful candidate must be able to organize and schedule the jobs for the wire machine operators and be mindful of meeting customer’s deadlines.
