Job Details Rakes and Ladders is looking for a hard working, experienced, full-time, permanent (40 hr) Horticulture Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the activities of multiple Horticulture Specialists (team members) who work on gardens, lawns, fields, and other residential and commercial areas,
• Plan and schedule the work/shift of team members, optimize their schedules to address labour needs in different projects.
• Plan and coordinate team actions to monitor growth and use of plants for landscaping or ornamental uses of gardens and other types of job sites.
• Manage the inventory of materials used in the field, if necessary, initiate internal purchase orders to head office.
• Train workers in their duties, company safety procedures and protocols, environmental regulations etc.

Job Description Requirements:

• High school diploma is required. Additional training in landscape and horticulture is preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year of work experience in a Supervisor Position in the field.
• Strong interpersonal & leadership skills.

Remuneration:

• $28.00 per/hr
• 2 weeks vacation
