Job Description:



Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Inspect kitchens and food service areas

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Order supplies and equipment

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Clean kitchen and work areas

Manage kitchen operations

Job Description Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook is required. If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, then a post-secondary certificate is required. Experience in Italian cuisine and pizza cooking is an asset. However, on-the-job training will be provided.

Salary: $17.00 hourly, 40 - 48 hours per week.

Important Information: The position requires working on shifts of 7 to 9 hours per day. The shifts will be scheduled from Monday to Sunday within the business operating hours between 10 am to 01 am. Flexibility in schedule is required. Day shifts, night shifts, and weekend hours will be required. Overtime will be required based on the business needs.
