Work Location: Various work locations within the Ottawa region. Main locations are: Stittsville, Kanata and Nepean.

Type of Employment: Full-time – Seasonal / 270-day contract

Job Description:

Weed, prune, fertilize, seed and trim trees and plants
Cut lawn
Rake and collect refuse
Remove litter and garbage
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Residential and commercial snow shoveling during the colder months

Job Description Requirements:

Education: No formal education is required

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Client focus, Flexibility, Team player, Dependability

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Noisy, Hot, Dusty

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Language: Basic English is required



Salary: $18.00 hourly, 40-50 Hours per week.



Benefits: Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Accommodation provided at a cost.



Important Information:

Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Flexibility in schedule is required. Weekend work may be required depending on weather conditions.
