A Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes and meet production targets.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining machinery in a production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• On-the-job training is usually provided
Salary:
• $21/hour, 35-40 hours per week, paid bi-weekly.
• Vacation: Entitled to three (3) weeks of holiday per year and three (3) personally paid sick days.

Job Description Job responsibilities:
• Review specifications or follow verbal instructions to understand the task at hand.
• Operate machinery proficiently for high-quality production as per specifications and schedules.
• Set up machinery, including adjusting and calibrating settings, to ensure accurate and precise production runs.
• Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet the required shapes, dimensions, and other specified criteria.
• Diagnose issues and undertake corrective actions or minor repairs as needed, demonstrating troubleshooting skills.
• Record completed work for documentation purposes, maintaining organized records.
• Assemble staging or erect scaffolding when tackling heavy metalworking tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Perform equipment maintenance by cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as required to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational issues.
