Job Description
Work site environment: At heights, Dusty, Odours, Confined spaces, Noisy
Work setting: In shop, Repair and Service establishment
Specific Skills: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, Conduct sales calls, Set-up displays of retail parts and accessories, Advise on use and appropriateness of goods or parts, Identify, label and catalogue items received, Maintain records on inventory control system, Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials, Store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area, Clean and maintain office, supply area or warehouse, Perform general office duties, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Handle cash transactions, Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, Prepare and track work orders, Process incoming requisitions, Sell spare and replacement parts, Ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment, Have technical knowledge of parts for automobile, agriculture equipment and heavy duty equipment.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software, MS Office, Internet, JD Edwards, SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD), Simply Accounting
Type of experience: Call centre
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, HVAC, Pallet lifters
Type of industry experience: Shipping Line
