Job Duties:
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
May tend machines or equipment used in construction
Chip concrete and concrete removal
Mix, pouring and spreading concrete, asphalt, or gravel
Use powered tools such as Jack-hammers
Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel
Perform a variety of routine, non-machine tasks, such as removing forms from set concrete, painting and other related tasks
Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools, and supplies; cleaning tools, equipment, materials, and work areas

Education: Not required
Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Overtime might be required
Weight Handling: up to 23 kg (50lbs)
Personal suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Team player
Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy, Dangerous, Outdoors, Heights, Work under different weather
Conditions is required.
Construction specialization: Roads and bridges
Language: Basic level of English is required.
Salary: $25.02 hourly, 30-50 hours per week
Benefits: Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Accommodation available at a discounted rate. Transportation provided from one work site to another at no cost.
Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (It includes a 30-minute paid lunch). However, flexibility on schedule is required. Work on weekends or evenings may be needed depending on the requirements of the project. Overtime may be required. Shifts may vary depending on weather conditions.
