Job Description Title: Baker
Position: Full-time (40h – 44h per week) & Permanent
Wage: Range between $16.00 / hour
Location: Mr. Kaak is located at 1020 Pleasant Park Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1G 2A1.
Experience: 1-2 years experience working in a bakery / sweets shop ideally in Lebanese breads and sweets.
Education: High School or equivalent experience
Languages: English or French
Schedule: Early morning/Day/evening/weekends/nights
Working conditions: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive under pressure, Attention to detail
Skills: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters, icings, frostings and syrups according to recipes or special customer orders, Bake mixed dough and batters, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, Inspect kitchen and food service areas, clean kitchen and food service areas, Operate machinery, Organize and maintain inventory
