Position Summary:
We are expanding our team and are seeking an IT Support Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for research, plan, design, develop, modify, evaluate and integrate computer and telecommunications hardware and related equipment, as well as information and communication system networks including mainframe systems, local and company wide area networks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

IT Support:
• Adhere to and support relevant business processes, including but not limited to: monitor that all systems and software receive an Antivirus client that is kept up to date.
• Do daily checks to see if any warnings or issues exist on computers and servers.
• Assist on upgrading the system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Assist on changing rules and passwords for employees and students for security purposes.
• Set up of scans to effectively detect malicious software and hardware that might be present on the network.
• Protects systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Help maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.

Instructor Support:
• Establish strong working relationships with Instructors
• Help Instructors troubleshoot basic issues with the Google Classroom, Google Meet and Pearson and guide them to further resources available for support.

Administrative Support:
• Manage electronic records in compliance with the College retention & disposal policy
• Provide back-up support for email and online inquiries
• Provide feedback on relevant business processes

Student Support:
• Provide technical assistance information and assistance on program requirements, assessments and course scheduling to students

Skills & Qualifications:
• College or university degree in IT field, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
• Ability to perform multiple and varied tasks and to change priorities in a fast paced environment
• Good judgment, initiative, tact and diplomacy in dealing with the frequent interactions with
• students, Instructors, and support staff,
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), including sorting and filtering in Excel,
• required
• High degree of comfort with technology and web-based platforms is required
• Set priorities, meet deadlines and must have a keen attention to detail
• Strong file management skills required
• Strong written and verbal communication required
• Proven ability to adapt to changes in technology, processes and procedures is required
