Job Details Arete Management Corp. is looking for full time Finish Carpenter for 100-450 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7K 2C3 Canada. There are 10 Positions available.


Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
-New construction of large concrete or wooden buildings such as multi-storey apartments and hotels
-Experience using power tools
-Experience in finishing carpentry techniques including:
Installation of wardrobes and cabinetry
Fit and installation of doors and windows, including hardware
Fit and installation of trim, moldings and casings
Installation of backlit mirrors
Installation of quartz or tile countertops and backsplashes
Fit and installation of custom handrails and guardrails
Construct feature walls of various materials and details
Deficiency work
-Experience with the following would be an asset:
Drywall repair including mudding and taping
Painting and paint touch ups

Job Description Hours of work are Mon-Fri 40 hours/week, pay is $28/hour. Successful candidates must speak English. Must have secondary school diploma. Minimum work experience is 2-3 years hands on experience.
