Job duties:

Wash and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces inside and outside the plant according to the company’s established Sanitation Program
Handle and mix industrial strength chemicals
High pressure washing and sanitizing
Remove debris and garbage from the plant floor
Disassemble and assemble equipment
Report broken, damaged, or unsafe equipment
Strictly follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) for working in a food processing plant.
Perform safety and security checks
Work with minimal supervision
Job Description Requirements:

-Education: No formal education is required

-Previous cleaning experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset. Training will be provided.

-Ability/Aptitude to operate equipment such as pressure washers, forklift, and various hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment is preferred.

-Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads (up to 27kg: 60 lbs), Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail.

-Personal Suitability: Reliability, Team player, Values and ethics, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Good communication skills.

- Work Site Environment: Odours, Wet/Cold

-Language: English is required



Wage: Hourly rate of $23.00 - $24.00 per hour, 40 hours per week.
