Job Details Ellis Floor Coverings is looking for a full-time Floor Covering Installer at 4190 ON-9, Kincardine, ON N2Z 2X5 Canada. There is 1 position available.

Hours of work are 40-44 hours/week (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is $23.00/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.

Job Description Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
• Measure, cut and install carpeting using hand or machine stitcher, seaming iron, bonding tape, or other bonding materials
• Stretch carpeting using knee-kicker or power stretcher and secure carpeting to floor or other surfaces using staple gun or other devices
• Measure, cut and install vinyl floor covering using adhesive, rollers, and other hand tools
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Assist with other types of flooring as needed
