Salary: $24.00HOUR hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Description
Specific Skills:
-Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment,
-Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment,
-Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment,
-Interpret welding process specifications
-Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
-Determine weldability of materials
-Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air),(AOC).
-Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Equipment and Machinery Experience:
-Gas welding machine
-Arc welding machine
-Spot welding machine

Additional Skills:
-Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
-Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.

Area of Specialization:
-Machinery or equipment repair
-Custom fabrication
-Cast iron and other metals

Weight Handling:
-Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Welding Techniques:
-Resistance, spot, or seam
-Laser
-Fusion welds
-Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
-Brazing and soldering
-Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)

Work Setting:
-Manufacture

Own Tools/Equipment:
-Steel-toed safety boots
