Galaxie Signs is looking for experienced a full-time, permanent (40 hr) Production Coordinator!

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Consult with production manager to schedule production runs in a cost-effective way.
• Facilitate information and drawings between Project Manager, Detailing, Production, and Field Operations
• Communicate regularly with other departments such as warehouse, production and installation/field supervisors and purchasing and inventory clerks to coordinate activities between warehouses, production floors, signage installation sites
• Support quotations by providing estimated delivery times, signage production cycles
• Conduct site visits when necessary and provide necessary feedback to production workers.
• Maintain inventory of materials and parts (for neon signage, pylon, fascia or any specialty sign) needed to complete production
• Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information, using computerized systems.
• Follow up and monitor project progress, ensure both internal and external shareholders are satisfied with the products and services of Galaxie Signs.
• Review and prepare goals, KPI’s on a monthly basis with production manager.
Job Description
And:
• 1+ years of proven relevant work experience or relevant education
• Strong interpersonal & relationship skills, being able to read technical drawings and blue prints is a huge bonus
• Post-Secondary education preferably in a technical area with business administration focus is preferred
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, Shift work may be required; weekend, nights
