Rate: $18.72 / hour

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Ability to supervise: 3-4 people

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required.

Work Location Information: Room and board provided

Work Site Environment: Hot, Outdoors

Personal Suitability: Organized

Additional skills: Maintain work records and logs, Operate, and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform general farm duties, hire and train staff.

Area of Specialization: Agricultural crop service

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Vegetable or fruit harvester

Landscape and Horticulture Technicians and Specialists Specific Skills: Harvesting seedlings, Lowering, Deleafing, Seed cutting, Mixing Fertilizer.

Specific Skills - Field Crops: Hoeing crops

Type of crops: Blueberries

Type of Farm Operations: Tree and orchard fruit

Farm Supervisors Specific Skills: Maintain quality control and production records, Develop work schedules and establish procedures, Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
