Category - Permanent, Full Time 30 to 40 Hr/Week (Mon-Fri: 8.30AM-5.00PM)

Position Summary:
You will be responsible for leading a work unit of individuals performing day-to-day tasks, such as receiving, picking, loading, forklifting, and inventory control, within guidelines set by the Manager, Warehouse Operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervising a team of warehouse employees, overseeing the storage, as well as the shipping and receiving of goods while respecting budgetary constraints
• Ensure that shipping and receiving activities are tracked and monitored and kept up to date regarding KPI’s/deliverables, and maintain a high level of labour efficiency
• Review daily workload with team and plan priorities
• Cross train team members and manage days off and vacation
• Lead continuous improvement activities in the warehouse
• Maintain a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, forklifts and other equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum High School Diploma preferably post secondary education in a related field.
• Two years progressive responsibility experience preferably within the distribution industry (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and SAP computer tools.
• Honest and trustworthy, results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• Skills in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
