Job Description We are looking for a parent's helper to help take care of one youth, a male age 16. This position is an 8 hour splift shift position from Monday – Friday. The shift is split as morning and afternoon as follows: Morning: 7am – 11am, Afternoon: 2pm – 6pm.

In the morning, you're responsible for preparing meals for the child, both their morning meal and afternoon meal that they will eat at school. After the child leaves for school, you are responsible for the light housekeeping and overseeing or preparing the child's afternoon meals.

In the afternoon, you're responsible for preparing and serving an afternoon meal and preparing their dinner. You will also be assisting them with any homework, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for the child.

Overall you will be maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home. You will also be implementing the disciplinary methods instructed by the parents. You will also look after the children's emotional needs during parent's absence. You may organize indoor or outdoor activities for the children that can promote exercise or for educational purposes.

Tasks
