Job Details W.S. Morgan Construction Ltd. is looking for full time Finish Carpenters at 19 Bowes St, Parry Sound, ON P2A 2K7, Canada. There are 5 positions available.
 
Hours of work are 40 hours/week. Pay is $28.67/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.

Job Description Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

-Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for milling and fabrication.
-Prepare structures for finish applications by planning, shaping and sanding; using hand and power tools.
-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
-Cut, shape, and assemble and/or prepare wood components and/or various materials with shop tools and equipment such as planers, jointers, shaper, routers, sanders, and various power saws for Industrial, Commercial and Institutional projects
-Determine type and dimensions of wood and/or materials to be used.
-Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
-Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
-Maintain, clean equipment, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
-May prepare material and cost estimates for clients.
