We are currently looking for a certified Early Childhood Educator.

Job Description:
Position: Early Childhood Educator
Vacancy: 1
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Wage: 20.00 to 24.00 CAD per hour (to be negotiated)
Benefits: Dental, extended health benefit package after 3 months Probations. ECE Wage Enhancement Provided by British Columbia Ministry of Children and Family Development.

Main duties:
• Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
• Knowledge of Day Nurseries Act
• Establish guidelines for behaviour
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants

Job Requirement:
License: British Columbia Early Childhood Educator License, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Experience an asset
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Immunization Records.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
