Job Details Delta greenhouse is looking for a full time Handyman/Maintenance Technician.

Job Description Reporting to Maintenance Manager, the Handyman/Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance tasks at various departments of Delta/Langley site.
- Perform building maintenance, eg. changing switches, light bulbs, window glazes
- Perform preventative maintenance eg. greasing and lubricating equipment, testing, charging, and replacing batteries on equipment
- Troubleshoot simple electrical circuit
- Small tractors and engines maintenance
- Testing, cleaning, replacing sump pumps
- Assist in minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing projects
- Working on ladder and moving equipment
- Housekeeping, organizing working areas
Qualification & Skills
- Experience in basic maintenance/handyman-type support
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Can identity issues and finding solutions
- Flexible work schedule to include weekends
- Willing to learn and complete training courses
- Attentive, proactive, reliable, and efficient
- Excellent communication skills
