Job Details
Wage & Benefits:
• $18.00 per hour
• 35 to 40 hours per week
• 10 days paid vacation

Skills requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Several years’ experience in commercial food preparation preferred, one year required
• Experience in Mexican cuisine is an asset
• Food Safe Level 1 Certificate (within 2 weeks of employment)
• Strong organizational and delegation skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and monitor other cooks
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Job Description
• Preparing and cooking Mexican focused dishes
• Assisting with menu planning, developing new recipes, and adjusting item pricing
• Monitoring inventory and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies
• Ensuring food meets quality and food safety standards
• Supervising activities of kitchen helpers/staff, as necessary
