Job Description

- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas

Job Description Requirements

-Education: Completion of secondary education is required
-Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate in cooking is required.
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods, Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail.
-Personal suitability: Client focus, Dependability, Initiative, Organized, Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Ability to multitask.
-Language: English is required

Salary: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour, 35 - 40 hours per week.

Important information:
This position requires flexibility in schedule. The worker will work from Tuesday to Saturday, 6- 8 hours shifts between 11:00am to 11:00pm. Overtime may be required depending on the restaurant needs.
