Job Description
Job Duties:
• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
• Replace front end components, doors, frame, and underbody components
• Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
• Remove damaged fenders, panels, grills, and bolts or weld replacement parts into place
• Repair or replace interior components
• File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
• Mix paint, blend, and match colors
• Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
Requirements
• Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in auto body repair
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and reliable
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• A team player and client focused
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment, which includes bending crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
• A valid Driver’s License
• Able to communicate using the English language is a requirement
