Mandarin Restaurant headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, is a 38-year-old franchise chain. The chain is comprised of 28 licensed restaurants across southern Ontario. Each of the restaurants offers all-you-can-eat award-winning Canadian & Chinese buffet, as well as à-la-carte, take-out, and delivery.
Job Description Responsibility
• Develop administrative management system, working procedures, policies, and strategies to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant.
• Develop operations specifications, health and safety standards and supervise staff to comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Direct and supervise staff engaging in inventory record management, food material purchasing, human resources and other administrative services.
• Develop operations budget of the restaurant, monitor expenditures and control operations costs.
• Develop customer service standards, supervise, and evaluate quality of customer service and enhance operational efficiency.
• Interview and recruit staff, arrange introduction training, monitor, and evaluate their performance.
• Coordinate communication and cooperation among different departments and locations to ensure effective work level of the restaurant.
• Regularly prepare operations management report for evaluating operations efficiency.

Qualifications
• Secondary diploma or above
• 5+ years of experience in managerial position and experience related to catering or food and beverage preferred.
• Experience with well-known chain restaurant or hotel, and knowledge of Chinese and western cuisine will be an asset.
• Passion and enthusiasm in catering industry and able to work in fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Strong awareness of customer service and excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills to deal with customers’ complaints.
• Proven leadership and management skills and the ability to impel teamwork and cooperation.
• Able to work in flexible hours, days and shifts including weekends and holidays
• Willing to relocate to London.
