Shift Available:
Downtown, Vancouver
1. 3-11pm for 5 days a week Saturday-Wednesday (40 hours per week)
2. Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm, Thursday and Friday 3-11pm (4 days)
3. Saturday and Sunday 11pm-7am (2 days)
Duties Include:
- Providing front desk service to residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Receiving and handling packages
- Familiarize yourself with the bylaws of the building and report bylaw infractions to the Building Manager.
- Communicate the rules, regulations and requirements affecting operations.
- Conducting patrols of parkade and other areas
- Diligent record keeping of occurrences in the building
- Work as a team by communicating with the other concierge staff and also with the building manager on a work daily basis.
- Support the Building Manager and Strata Agent on delivering the best service to the Strata Council and residents of the building.
- Daily administrative tasks – check emails, phone calls and texts; reply accordingly.
- Log daily events that take place at the building.
- Know how to deal with an emergency – call the Building Manager; if they are not onsite call the AWM emergency line of an emergency number if it is a crime or health hazard.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to use computers and software (e.g., camera surveillance, access device systems, Microsoft Office programs)
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Cultural awareness
- Fluent in English and good communication skills
- Minimum one year concierge, front desk or customer service experience
