Job Details
Looking to bring on an energetic individual to join our dispatch team on USA/Canada lines. We are looking for someone who is patient, good communication skills (phone, in person and by email), has multi-tasking and problem solving skills. Computer skills are required as well; to email, enter/track loads, update load boards, book loads and keep all our customers up to speed on what is going on daily.
Duties:
- Coordinate with our customer service reps to get work orders
- Set load appointments with customers
- Respond to emails
- Update load boards
- Dispatch loads with drivers and follow up to make sure drivers are running on time.
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
- Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
- Answer calls from delivery drivers and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels
Experience Requirements Qualifications include:
- Strong computer skills, data entry is part of the job.
- Knowledge with automotive freight and boarder crossing.
- Knowledge with DAT, Loadlink, TruckStop load boards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with both drivers and customers in a busy working environment..

- Dispatch experience preferred driver experience would be helpful.
- Must have excellent "people skills", including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of customers, and co-workers.
