Job Details Hopcott Farms is a third-generation family own farm established in 1932 that has been providing the highest quality locally sourced natural meats, produce and grocery items through the in-house retail shop since 2006. We’re all about supporting local and this can be seen in our selection of chicken, pork, produce, and artisanal foods. Hopcott Farms has immediate opening for 1 (one) permanent full-time General Farm Worker. The candidate’s duties include:
• Assist with feeding, treating and management of cattle.
• Conduct daily checks of water systems, salt and minerals.
• Assist with yard maintenance and clean-up.
• Perform general tasks such as counting, harvesting, and taking inventory.
• Enter data into company computer database as directed.
• Maintain farm safety at all times; comply with company health and safety guidelines.
• Perform general labor tasks, as assigned.

Job Description Requirements:
• No specific education or training requirements.
• Basic farm knowledge, some background in operating machinery will be an asset.
• Willingness to work outside during various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Machinery operations.
Work sites: Year-round work, Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, hot/cold.

Compensation: $17.00/hour for 30-60 hours/week (+ 4% Vacation pay)
