Job Description:
• Monitoring animal health (especially be able to notice colic in horses)
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Fertilize and spray crops
• Harvest hay
• Feed and tend animals
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Clean stables
• Stone and/or wood picking
• Operate tillage, baling, seeding, harvesting equipment
• Harrow fields, arena, outdoor arena
• General farm clean up
• Farm maintenance
• Repair and maintenance of fences
• Maintain the landscaping
• Board, care for, handle horses
• Take the horses out to pasture and return them to the stables
• Groom horses, tack horses
• Blanket and put boots on horses

Requirements:
-Education: Not required
-Experience: Experience is an asset
-Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Salary: $22.00 hourly, 40-44 Hours per week

Important Information: Work schedule: From 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Five days per week and two days off. Each employee takes a turn starting at 7:00 AM one day a week for feeding. Position requires flexibility on schedule as it is extended for the seeding and harvesting period.
