Job Description Main duties
• Diagnose patients and check symptoms and apply acupuncture to patients to fix problems;
• Apply acupuncture to relieve symptoms, pain, muscle problems;
• Leave comments on clients illness, pains and disease for the doctor and other therapists for future therapy sessions;
• Provide other alternative forms of health care patients;
• Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet;
• Diagnose the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients and treat them;
• Treat patients by insertion of acupuncture needles or through stimulation techniques;
• Discuss findings with the client and explain methods to prevent recurrence of the problem.

Position Requirements:
• Completion of diploma program in traditional Chinese medicine from a private institute in Canada or recognized medical schools abroad;
• Qualify for registration with a regulatory body in BC;
• Experience in acupuncture or training is an asset
• Related working experience of more than 1 year is preferred.
