Job Details Community Support Worker Needed for: Milieu Family Services Inc.

Location: 17733 66 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 7X1
Salary $21.00 / hour
Workplace Setting: Group Home
Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, Judgement, Initiative, Effective interpersonal skills, Team player, Client focus, Flexibility

Specific Skills: Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs, Resolve conflict situations, Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, Implement behaviour management programs, Assist clients/guests with special needs

Target Audience: Persons with mental health disabilities, Street population
