• Feed or assist in feeding
• Change non-sterile dressing
• Provide personal care
• Assist client in bathing and toileting and hygiene care
• Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and menus
• Collect specimens
• Assist the client in exercise 
• Assist the client in water (i.e. pool)
• Transfer client in and out of bed
• Take to doctor’s appointment
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Launder clothing and household linens 
• Mend clothings and linens
• Provide companionship

 Assume full responsibility of the household ( in the absence of householder)

Requirements:

-Education: Secondary high school graduation certificate

-Capcity to Handle: 45-60 kg is required

-First Aide Certificate is an asset

-CPR is an asset

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• The personal care attendant will be responsible for the care of quadriplegic man.
• Flexibility of schedule is required. 8- hr shifts that can start at 9:00am or 10:00am according to employer’s needs and end at 5:00pm or 6:00pm.working hours are from Monday to Friday.

As the position involves high- medical needs and possible on-call duties, live - in condition is a mandatory requirement for the job. Accomodation will be available at no charge for live-in basis.
