Hansa Language Centre
We are seeking an administration officer
to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibilities would be to assist
agents, and prospective/current students with information regarding admissions,
registrations, course details and requirements, as well as general student
support. This position also assists our
marketing director with a focus on the CIS market. We will consider all
applicants that are eligible to work in Canada, however, preferences will be
given to candidates that are able to communicate in English as well as Russian,
Ukrainian, and/or Kazakh.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Advise students about the programs offered, policies, admission procedures, eligibility
and costs involved
·
Arrange orientation programs and educational workshops for
prospective students and their agents
·
Foster positive relationships with prospective students through
effective and timely communication
·
Foster and maintaining a network of external contacts to support
recruitment strategies
·
Overlook and ensure that applications, payments, as well as
student and agent records are accurate and up to date
·
Carry out administrative activities associated with admission to
Hansa
·
Follow-up with students and agents for any enquiries through
direct meetings, live chat, phone calls and emails
·
Perform follow-up tasks to gather further information, complete
record-keeping and report to the management team
·
Review school materials regularly such as the academic calendar,
website, brochures, and newsletters to ensure that all information given is as
up-to-date and accurately translated
·
Assist students with information regarding further admission to
partner post-secondary educational institutions in Hansa’s college/university
pathway program
·
Analyze statistical school application data from the point of
application to fee payment as a contribution to the enrolment management
process
·
Recommend procedural changes to improve the effective functioning
of the unit and to ensure a smooth functioning administrative team
·
Assisting all departments of Hansa when language and cultural
barriers are an issue
Other duties as assigned
Qualification:
·
Proven 1+ year work experience as an Administrative Officer,
Admission Officer or similar role
·
Solid knowledge of school application procedures in Canada
·
Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS
Excel and MS Word, specifically) and CRM (Hubspot specifically)
·
Knowledge and understanding of internet technologies including
website CMSs and social media platforms
·
Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
·
Ability to work in a culturally diverse team environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Flexible schedule including some Saturdays as well as late evenings or early mornings required to reach other timezones
·
College diploma
