Vancouver family is presently seeking an experienced caregiver to care for their young child.  The position is expected to commence ASAP.  Childcare will take place in the employer's home.

Reliability; Effective interpersonal skills; Team player; Excellent oral communication; Judgement and intuitiveness; and Flexibility.   

Specific Skills & Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; prepare child for rest periods; tend to emotional well-being of the child; supervise and care for the child; prepare and serve nutritious meals; bathe, dress and feed the child; instruct child in personal hygiene and social development; and organize, activities such as games and outings for child; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; and light housekeeping incidental to the care of the child.

Education: 
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

Experience: 

At least 1 year of childcare or related experience is required.

Other Requirements:  Criminal record check required.

Language: English

Hours: Full-Time

Wage: Higher of $14.60/hour or Prevailing Wage
