Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing bicycle service work from minor repairs to complete overhaul
  • Input work orders and customer notes into POS.
  • Ability to talk to customers in a friendly and open manner, efficiently assess and diagnose their bicycle concerns and explain the repair to the customer in an easy manner
  • Communicate with customers regarding modifications to quoted work based upon inspection
  • Contacting customer to discuss completed work
  • Final inspection and quality assurance of new bicycles before delivery
  • Building new bicycles for the sales floor.

 

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • experience working in a service department in the cycling industry
  • Detailed and extensive knowledge of bicycles of all types, parts, tools, service techniques and parts compatibility
  • Comfortable working with high-end mountain bike, e-bikes, and road/hybrid bikes
  • Comfortable working with all types of hydraulic components
  •  Positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Attention to detail and efficient and tidy work ethic
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure but to the highest standard
  • Passionate about riding
  • Flexible availability – including weekends, and holidays

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • The position is Full-Time and commences as soon as possible.
  • Compensation commensurate upon experience between $17 and $21 per hour
  • You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada and must have a valid work permit.
