Canadian owned and operated Vaughn Mills Packaging Ltd. is looking to hire a full-time maintenance mechanic to join their fast growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be driven, independent, and knowledgeable individual who is ready to grow and thrive in their career.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Repair and replace defective machinery parts.
• Report to the lead mechanic on the work completed.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Monitor operation of plant equipment 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

·         Standing for prolong period of time

·         Attention to details

·         Work under pressure

·         Bending, crouching, kneeling

·         Ability to handle heavy loads
